The international financier Dominique Strauss-Kahn, known as DSK, seeks damages for his arrest, which included jail time at New York's Rikers Island Prison and house arrest, for losing his job as managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and for harm to his reputation causing him to drop out of the race for Presidency of France. His countersuit seeks at least $1 million in damages plus an undetermined amount of punitive damages. [Fn-1]
“You have to understand something,” DSK said sometime ago about his libertine pursuits. “Libertinism consists of having free and consensual sexual relations.” Therein lies a huge cultural difference and his downfall: in the U.S. women can act like sexual predators a la Kim Cattrall's character Samantha Jones in Sex in the City, who screws everything that moves within 50 ft of her. For the French man, the head of the IMF and aspiring President, the "libertine" sex was the beginning of his end.
Diallo, his accuser, a single mother who immigrated from Guinea, has not worked since the incident a year ago, claiming now “a shoulder injury,” which she allegedly sustained during the encounter with Strauss-Kahn, said one of her lawyers, Douglas Wigdor.[Fn-1] Needless to say, as the US laws require, Diallo was under the police protection as a "rape victim,"and the general public did not even know her name until the day she gave a well-rehearsed performance at her press conference.
A year ago, on May 14, 2011, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was arrested and charged with the sexual assault and attempted rape of 32-year-old Nafissatou Diallo, a housekeeper at the Sofitel New York Hotel in Manhattan. NYPD detectives took him off his Paris-bound flight at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport just minutes before the takeoff. The U.S. State Department informed Strauss Kahn that his diplomatic immunity did not apply to this case.
He was arrested on the spot, handcuffed, paraded in front of the assembled TV cameras, and was later charged on several counts of sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment. A chorus of TV talking heads was shaming him, feminist legal commentators having a Schadenfreude fest, demanding he be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Applying a “reasonable woman standard,” the man deserved a conviction of rape and sexual assault on the account of his marital infidelity in the instant case, as well as having an alleged “history” of it.
Strauss-Kahn was accused of a litany of felony charges — two of criminal sexual acts of forcing the housekeeper to perform oral sex on him, one of attempted rape and one of sexual abuse — plus three misdemeanor offences, including unlawful imprisonment.
The costs of legal defense against such allegations are enormous. Just two weeks after his arrest, he UK Telegraph put the total cost of paying for his legal defense by then at $3 million, plus the $1 million cash bail backed by a $5 million bond. [Fn-2]
The accuser, Nafissatou Diallo, was very believable and extremely emotional, describing terrible abuse she suffered at the hands of DSK, shedding tears, and making the special crimes’ unit female detectives enraged with DSK, yet… every time giving new and mutually contradictory details of her “terrible ordeal” at the hands of the alleged abuser.
Twenty-eight hours after the alleged sexual assault, she talked to her boyfriend in an immigration jail in Arizona, saying "Don't worry, this guy has a lot of money. I know what I'm doing, " The New York Times quoted a government official saying.
Apparently, so did the accusers in other similar cases: the Kobe Bryant’s accuser, whose knickers bore traces of fresh semen of other men, or the accuser of the Duke University Lacrosse Team. Interestingly, the Duke university accuser was arrested in 2010 on charges of attempted murder, first-degree arson, assault and battery, identity theft, communicating threats, damage to property, resisting an officer and misdemeanor child abuse, and in late 2011 found competent to stand charges to the stabbing murder of her boyfriend. [Fn-3.a-b] In the US, no such evidence is relevant, when the woman says she was “raped.” Throughout these trials, a certain undeniable pattern emerged, with money, and false allegations as means of getting it, being key.
“Nothing changes one very important fact, namely, that Dominique Strauss-Kahn violently sexually assaulted the victim inside of that hotel room at the Sofitel,” said her lawyer even despite irreconcilable contradictions in her accusations. “Violently?”, “sexually assaulted?” – Really? Is it a “fact?”
We simply may not, cannot have false allegations of rape in America, because our most esteemed legal scholars, such as Katharine A. MacKinnon, have told our lawmakers "any heterosexual sex is rape of a woman." [*] So, evidence does not count, as long as the woman says it is rape… unless the accused can assemble a legal dream team, that would circumvent the legal hurdles of somehow introducing the evidence.
It's interesting how well some immigrants to the US, legal and illegal, learn to take advantage of the politically-correct “New Speak” of the Violence Against Women Act, even before entering the country. American “feminist jurisprudence” in general, and VAWA in particular, have made the meaning of such heinous crime as “rape”, anything the woman wishes. If you are a woman, come to America, it is always an open season here on men of means, and there are scores of righteous lawyers, who will show you the way to riches (and attempt to siphon the men’s worth into their own pockets in the process.)
Diallo told investigators a compelling and detailed story of being gang-raped by soldiers in Guinea — a shocking story, which she fabricated in its entirety. She even told a story of genital mutilation, another hokum. She struck all the chords on the feminists’ violin, but she got rather confused about her inconsistent lies. She claimed to have only one phone, while paying hundreds of dollars a month to five phone companies, as well as paying large sums to individuals, known felons, depositing almost $100,000 into her bank savings account over the previous two years. Evidence developed suggesting she routinely provided extra “services” to hotel guests as means to supplement her pay. [Fn-4]
She told her lies with great emotion, precision, and conviction – with tears, with halting speech and trembling voice. She hid her face down in her hands, she spoke of the number and nature of her attackers. She pointed at scars on her body that were supposedly from the attack. She told a heart-breaking story of her 2-year old daughter whom the soldiers pulled out of her arms and threw on the ground, and how the child witnessed the “abuse.” Except all of it was an act and none of it ever happened, as she later had to admit. [Fn-5]
Meanwhile, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the front-running candidate for President of France, faced 25 years in prison for seven criminal counts, including attempted rape and was in prison or under house arrest.
Forbes estimated that combined worth of DSK and his wife was at more than $100 million. DSK, the diminutive of statue "rapist" must have been rather adventurous (or off-the-scale Masochistic) to trust (or more appropriately "to thrust" – remember we are talking an alleged "rape" here? ) his manhood into a full set of razor sharp teeth in the mouth of Ms. Nafissatou Diallo, a rather large woman. What a sick rapist, indeed!
Given his high post of the head of the IMF and his leadership in the Socialist party of France, and being a leading candidate for the 2012 French Presidency, it's rather unlikely he'd be even inclined to so "rape" the underprivileged maiden, unless she fully cooperated. Although France invented the Guillotine, it is doubtful that its front-running Presidential candidate would so risk Presidential penis, vitally important to the prestige of the country and his personal wellbeing.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of enterprising potential “victims of rape” scouting the American landscape for deep-pocketed targets, but it is only men with truly large monetary resources, such as DSK, who can successfully legally defend themselves against these vultures. DSK, the Former Chief of the International Monetary Fund, who successfully defended himself against these ridiculously false allegations, is one such example. Meanwhile, the false "victims," such as in the DSK case, are aided and abetted all the way by the scores of unscrupulous lawyers and prosecutors, in search of c0ld cash and political capital.
Culturally, DSK is not an American man. He refuses to accept that in the culture of "blame the male," libertine attitudes are for women only, and that he will be declared a rapist at any opportunity. He is not resigned to being emasculated and forced into paying a ransom settlement on the threat of continued public humiliation; he is probably infuriated with the shakedown and the continued barrage of false allegations, as Nafissatou Diallo is now perusing the case in the civil court with its low standard of proof. All she needs is to gain sympathy of a judge, by shedding a tear or describing her “injuries.” A consummate actress, who cries convincingly, she is using the American legal system to get her pot of gold one way or another.

Notes: Some More Lies She Told
LIE: “I cowered in fear after DSK’s attack.” She told a grand jury under oath that after DSK assaulted her, she fled down the hall, where she cowered until she saw him leave for the elevator. She then immediately told her supervisors of the attack, she said.
TRUTH: She eventually confessed to prosecutors that what she really did after the “attack” was clean two hotel suits, including DSK’s Suite No. 2806. Only then did she tell hotel staff what had “happened.”
LIE: “I was gang-raped by Guinean soldiers.” DSK’s accuser swore in asylum paperwork that in retaliation for her family’s political opposition to Guinea’s dictatorship, she had been beaten and raped by a mob of soldiers. Prosecutors say she sobbed and “appeared distraught” as she recounted the ordeal.
TRUTH: “She admitted that the gang rape had never occurred,” prosecutors told defense lawyers in legal documents. “Instead, she stated that she had lied about its occurrence and fabricated the details.”
LIE: “I have two children.” Prosecutors say that for the past two tax years, DSK’s accuser declared she had two children as dependents on her tax returns.
TRUTH: She did so “on her tax returns for the purpose of increasing her tax refund beyond that to which she was entitled,” prosecutors say in court papers. She is actually the mother of only one child, a 15-year-old girl. – Not a biggie, really. Timothy Geithner, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, cheated the IRS of a lot more money, and it was fine.
